A to Z Challenge

So Many Amazing M’s #AtoZChallenge

M is for Michael Bublé, Muse and My Chemical Romance

As I mentioned in my theme-reveal post, this month will be all about music and how it inspires my writing.

Michael Bublé made a splash with “Home”. I like what he does with his music – especially the jazz quality to his songs. His songs are on my background music playlists – it’s great to listen to when I just need to be calm and get through admin.

Favourite album: “Call Me Irresponsible” Favourite song: “Call Me Irresponsible

Muse came to my attention with the first “Twilight” movie. (Remember “Supermassive Black Hole” playing during the baseball game?) Depending on what I write, they are on my drafting, rewriting and editing playlists.

Favourite album: “The 2nd Law” Favourite song: “Supremacy

My Chemical Romance isn’t something I can listen to all the time, but their songs are powerful. I first heard of them when the song “Welcome to the Black Parade” was played at camp. They are on my drafting playlists.

  1. Good choices. I know the Frank Sinatra version of the song. I frequently imagine one of my characters stripping to that song. What? I didn’t say that. Hey, look, a distraction!

My Sunday Stealing post mentioned you. And Janet’s comment does too. You should come laugh with us.

  2. I liked that song and video by Michael Buble-
. It was fun and I usually don’t associate his music with fun. Speaking of fun, my M musicians The Monkees!

  3. Oh boy, a bunch of new ones. I’ve a lot to listen to. I’ve been listening to all the songs that I haven’t heard before as I go through them — which is a lot o them. It’s been a pleasure.
