S is for Seether

As I mentioned in my theme-reveal post, this month will be all about music and how it inspires my writing.
Seether is a band that originated in Pretoria, South Africa. So, again, we’re looking at something from my country. (Last time we did this was for “H” when we looked at The Parlotones.)
They are a heavy metal band, but I think the music video I chose will be a good fit for most music tastes.
I have no idea how I first heard of them, but I enjoy their music on occasion. I have them on my “battle” playlists. “Simplest Mistake” and other songs from them work really well in various battle scenarios.
Favourite album: “Karma and Effect” Favourite song: “Broken” – especially the version with Amy Lee from Evanescence.
Word of the day: segue
According to Collins English dictionary: segue vb 1 to proceed from one section or piece of music to another without a break 2 play on without pause: a musical direction 3 the practice or an instance of playing music in this way

Do you like Seether? Do you have a favourite music group/artist that starts with an “S”?
Oh my, I like his voice or should I say their voices. I will have to check them out more.
I’m glad you liked it 🙂
Cool band! I had no idea that’s where they’re from.
~Operation Awesome. Our A to Z 2019 theme is the writing journey.
I’m glad you found it interesting 🙂
