It is the first Wednesday of a new month and time for another posting of the Insecure Writer’s Support Group.

I’m skipping this month’s optional question to share some awesome news with you.
I’ve completed the Irascible Immortals series (eBook, Paperback, and the Complete edition will be out by the end of this month) — including the translations to Afrikaans, and the audiobooks. The last time I wrote about this series, it was only about the first nine books — since then, the story arc of the series took another turn which needed more stories in the completed edition, and a novella from a human’s point of view emerged as well (that last one will be out around April as I’m still tinkering with it).
“Smoke on the Water”, which is on preorder for the 25th of February, contains the first nine books as well as four new books to wrap up the story arc. You can read more about it here. The first five books can be read as standalones, and they are about 30 minutes each.

I wanted to have everything finished before I did the big launch (or any launch for that matter), so it did take some time to get to this point. My newsletter subscribers tell me frequently that they buy and enjoy this series, so why not share it with a wider audience?
This is where I need help.
I’ve already contacted a couple of reviewers and bloggers to host me during March and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. But I can really do with more support. You know that you are always welcome to ask me to host you during your blog tour, so I feel comfortable asking you for help doing the same.
Please fill in the form if you are willing to help me.
I’m going to share the dates on social media in a graphic much like this one:

I really hope that you are able and willing to help me spread the word about this series.
I’m currently updating the covers across platforms with the “written by a human” sticker that I shared in last month’s IWSG post.

What do you expect when you follow a book’s tour across the web? What kind of images do you like to see in such a tour? Will you help me — pretty please?

No-one writes about the fae like Ronel Janse van Vuuren.
Congrats on finishing your series. It’s a huge accomplishment. I could give you a shout out in my Follower News on 3/10/2025 if that would help. Email me if you’re interested. I think a good strategy might be to find a blogger who hosts blog tours and go on one where you’d attract new readers. I’ve seen really successful ones when the giveaway includes an Amazon gift card.
Thanks, Natalie 🙂 I’ll email you the details.
That is a lot of books! Filled out the form and left two options for you.
Thanks, Alex!
Happy IWSG Day! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I’m excited about your release and am happy help!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks, Toi 🙂 We’ll chat soon.
Huge congrats on finishing the series! I think I could do a shout-out or guest post or something come March. Send me a message, though my reach is pretty tiny 🙂
Thanks, Rebecca 🙂 I’ll get in touch.
CONGRATS! I signed up to help out. I think images depend on the post. Obviously, the book cover, but if you write a guest post on something specific, a complementary image helps.
Thank you! I’ll be in touch.
Congratulations on finishing your series, Ronel! I have a lot of commitments in the next few months, so I can’t help at this time. Happy IWSG Day!
Thanks, Louise 🙂
Congratulations on finishing a series with so many books, Ronel! Must be a great feeling.
Thanks, Jennifer. Yeah, part of it is great while part is jittery until the release is done 😉
Congratulations! Very best wishes for Irascible Immortals. Thank you for co-hostiing!
