Something old and dangerous is awake and influencing the immortals to act in ways they’d only imagined.

First, small things like Odin, Anubis and Mab going on separate vacations and leaving their seats of power open for the taking. Then, Yue Lao, Cupid, Bast, Apollo and a Kitsune messing with the lives and memories of mortals. It grows to pandemonium when Pan and Poseidon upend the world, creating the Warp – and a free-for-all where it comes to the immortals’ wildest fantasies. Especially the twisted fantasies of Baba Yaga and her Nightmares, Morrígan and her love of War, and Isis who has no qualms unleashing hell on Earth to get Osiris back, plunging mortals even deeper into danger.

Onsterflikes + Verveling = Katastrofe

Iets oud en gevaarlik is wakker en beïnvloed die onsterflikes om op te tree op maniere wat hulle net hulself kon verbeel.

Eerstens, klein dingetjies soos Odin, Anubis en Mab gaan op aparte vakansies en laat hul sitplekke van krag oop vir enige Jan Rap en sy maat om oor te neem. Dan mors Yue Lao, Cupido, Bast, Apollo en ‘n Kitsune met die lewens en herinneringe van sterflinge. Dit groei tot pandemonium wanneer Pan en Poseidon die dam onder die eend uitruk en die Ontaarding skep – en die onsterflikes se wildste fantasieë skielik waar word. Veral die verdraaide fantasieë van Baba Yaga en haar Nagmerries, Morrígan en haar liefde vir Oorlog, en Isis wat geen betwyfelinge het om hel op aarde los te laat om Osiris terug te kry nie, wat sterflinge selfs dieper in gevaar dompel.

Gelukkig is sommige onsterflikes ouer en wyser as ander en besef dat alles nie is soos dit lyk nie … Maar skadebeheer, probeer om die Apokalips van alle ryke te vermy, nie nog te praat van om te ontdek wie die oeroue kwaadstoker is nie, verg meer toorkrag, vernuf en opoffering as wat hulle moontlik kon droom. Kan die onwaarskynlike groepering van Hel, Aphrodite, Set, Thor, Loki, Apollo, Freyja, Ra en Ammit die ryke red?
