Introduction to the Immortals

The realm of the fae is so large, so varied, so impacted by mortal fancy, that it isn’t odd that some fae have gotten delusions of grandeur at some point and acted out their fantasies as deities to mere mortals. Similar pantheons all over the world is the result. Especially in the case of Zeus and his ilk who got bored with the Greeks and moved on to the Romans under new names like Jupiter…

I’ll be looking at pantheons from the Ancient world, covering everything from Norse, to Greek, to Celtic mythos and everything in between. I won’t cover every deity in each pantheon – only the ones that interest me – otherwise it will take years before we get back to other faery creatures.
