OPTIONAL IWSG Day Question: 
When your writing life is a bit cloudy or filled with rain, what do you do to dig down and keep on writing?

Oh, you know, down a few kamikazes,have Nickelback/Linkin Park blasting from the speakers, and keep my fingers on the keyboard, typing like a crazy person whatever comes to mind.

Alright, that’s for when things are really bad. As in the world is about to end if I cannot finish this story bad.

Maybe I’m channelling my inner teenager a lot more at those times which are, thankfully, few and far between.

But for cloudy or rainy days? I warrior up.

I found this meme on Google+ years ago and I’m not sure who to attribute it to, but I do know that it serves as inspiration as a screensaver.

I actually thought of doing this post for W, but I have something else in store for that day.

So, warrior up. What does that really mean?

When you feel like you’d rather watch a rerun of Angel or The Vampire Diaries, you put your butt in your chair and write.

You don’t wait for Monday/next month/your birthday/the New Year to start writing. You start right now.

If you don’t feel like writing, you do it anyway.

When things don’t work out the way you want them to, you don’t give up: you have a little cry and then do your battle cry as you take over the world.

You do whatever you need to, to get your writing done.

You do the work.

If you don’t know how to do something, you find out, you learn, you master.
