Smoke on the Water

Description

The gods have been alive forever.

They’re bored.

And that’s becoming everyone’s problem.

Odin retires to a Midgard retirement village. Anubis escapes to a sun-drenched mortal beach. Mab heads to New Orleans for Halloween. Across the realms, immortals are finally indulging their own whims.

And why shouldn’t they?

They’ve earned it.

Unfortunately, the universe has other plans.

Immortals begin disappearing. Waters fall silent. Ancient forces stir. Strange disasters spread across pantheons and realms, and what first appears to be a collection of unrelated problems begins to look like something far more sinister.

As the immortals piece together the clues, they discover that someone has been pulling the strings from a place no living god should be able to reach.

An ancient pharaoh.

A forgotten name.

And a grudge that has lasted for millennia.

If the immortals can’t stop them, Chaos won’t be the only thing unleashed upon the world.

A humorous mythological fantasy mosaic of gods, monsters, folklore, chaos, and immortals behaving very badly.
