Wanneer liefdesgode saam kom vir ‘n konvensie, is dinge bestem om hand uit te ruk. Veral wanneer Cupido aanhou met sy pronkery en die Asteek god van liefde en speletjies alles in ‘n kompetisie verander. Yue-Lao daag net op om Aine se aandag te kry, maar hy word in die malligheid betrek.

Kit het ‘n vol lewe gehad om poetse op sterflinge en onsterflikes te speel. Maar die Eeu van Inligting het die pret uit alles geneem. Sy is moeg. Sy is verveeld. Net een ding pla haar: Apollo. Wanneer Apollo se manewales die vrede tussen panteons bedreig, kan net Kit bloedvergieting met haar kaskenades stop. Maar wil sy regtig?

Cynthia, maangodin en beskermer van die Aarde, het ‘n ultimatum gestel: óf Poseidon en Pan kom by, óf die Noorse panteon sal hul pligte oorneem. Soos die Griekse god van storms en water die volle omvang van die skade wat aan sy domein aangerig is, besef, kan hy kalm bly of sal sy berugte humeur hom die oorhand kry?

Pan en Poseidon ding mee om onderskeidelik die land en water skoon te maak, wat meer vernietiging in hul nasleep veroorsaak.
