A to Z Challenge

A-Z Challenge Theme Reveal 2022 #AtoZChallenge #AtoZChallengeThemeReveal

I’ll be doing the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge again this year. Normally, I don’t do a theme reveal: I usually write about Faerie (with loads of folklore, modern culture, and my interpretation for my writing). But the last couple of months haven’t gone as planned, and I had to adapt.

an a to z of book recommendations and reviews

I’ve been reading a lot lately, forgetting to post my reviews to Goodreads and other places (all still handwritten, so I’ll have to go and type them up). I’ll have to be a bit creative to make them fit the alphabet, but that’s okay. I might even have to read more books… Like that’s a hardship. LOL.

My Goodreads TBR is out of control, anyway. Over a thousand books! And I’m quite sure I want to read all of them… I’ve already done a couple of readathons to help get to the top of TBR Mountain, but I seem to add new books every month.

Looking at what I have, it is going to be quite a versatile set of books from different genres, by different authors, some in series and others standalones, some previously read but now the series is complete, and other things that work with organised chaos. Upwards of 60 books…

I’ll be sharing my TBR for the selected letter, the cover, blurb and Goodreads link for the book(s) I’ve read, the review(s), and then the cover and a link to learn more about one of my books that fit the letter. I think that will serve A-Z visitors well.

What are your plans for April’s A-Z blogging challenge? Are you going to participate? How many books have you read this year? How many books are you planning to read this year?

  2. Sounds like a great theme to me! I miss the days when I could read endlessly without falling asleep. Haha! Perhaps I’ll relive those days vicariously through your reviews. Happy blogging!

  3. Hello, I’m Biggles. I think you know my Mummy. I know she reads a lot of books, and writes them too. We sit in our runs behind her and listen to her writing them.
We’re blogging about our Favourite Things this year. I hope you come and visit if you have time.
Will your A to Z include any with guinea pigs in them?
    Good luck!
