T is for Taylor Swift

As I mentioned in my theme-reveal post, this month will be all about music and how it inspires my writing.

I first got introduced to Taylor Swift when her music videos for “You Belong with Me” and “Love Story” got aired on TV. I liked the stories they told. So I got the album I like most of her: “Fearless”. Her music has evolved since and I cannot say that I love everything she sings, but for the most part her music works well during a drafting session (especially writing young adult).

Favourite album: “Fearless Platinum Edition” Favourite song: “Love Story

Word of the day: transpose

According to Collins English dictionary: transpose vb 2 music a to play (notes, music, etc.) in a different key from that originally intended b to move (a note or series of notes) upwards or downwards in pitch

Do you like Taylor Swift? Do you have a favourite music group/artist that starts with a “T”?

  1. I took my youngest daughter to see Taylor Swift twice at a huge venue in Philadelphia (once she was with Ed Sheehan) and not shoes were fabulous. 😎

  2. Yes, Taylor Swift is loved by many. Admittingly she is too young for me but so is Britney Spears and I like her music. Anyway, I was first introduced to Taylor Swift’s music from her theme song in Hunger Games “Safe & Sound” https://youtu.be/RzhAS_GnJIc

I loved the show and the books, so of course, the theme song was admirably worthy. She was a hit and has become more and more popular, however, I have heard she’s a stuck up bitch in real life from those who know her. Or at least she used to be growing up in school.
